Week 7 of NFL 2025 is folding up, leaving behind various high points for fans to ponder. Some of the crucial takeaways from the week are listed below:
- The Lions still have not won a game sans Stafford since 2010.
- The Arizona Cardinals remain as the leagues only undefeated team. The cardinals stand at 7-0 for the second time in franchise history. The first time was 1974 when the franchise was rooted in St. Louis.
- If the NFL playoffs started tomorrow, the Cincinnati Bengals would be the AFCs No. 1 seed for the first time since 2013. It was the most unpredictable finish of week 7 in NFL 2021.
- Jared Goff, who was sacked twice on Sunday, has not yet won a game without the Rams uniform. He also remains without a victory in the past ten starts. Even Sean McVay, his head coach, is unable to push him towards a winning performance this season.
- Tom Brady became the NFLs first quarterback to throw 600 regular-season Touchdown passes in a 38-3 rout of the Chicago Bears.
The best game for fans was the one held between Arizona Cardinals and Houston Texans. Cardinals fans were on the edge of their chairs when quarterback Kyler Murray had to visit the blue pop-up medical tent twice during the game. In the first quarter, Murray took a couple of shots to his head that sent him to the medical tent and fans to their knees in prayers since, without Murray, this season had nothing for his team. Good for his team, he quickly reappeared to lead the Cardinals to another score on their next possession. Murray visited the tent a second time early in the fourth quarter but emerged minutes later to accompany his team to the victory. Murray had three touchdown passes in the win over Texans on Sunday.
